The capital city of
Jalisco, Guadalajara, Is the second largest city in México and is the major
Mexican business center. Guadalajara is commonly known as the Silicon Valley of
México.
The most important activities
in the service sector include entertainment, real state, temporary lodging,
bank services, food and beverages. The industrial zone produces mainly
textiles, footwear, food, beverages, rubber, plastics, furniture and
pharmaceutical products. Since 2010, the investments in the state increase
almost 3 million dollars and create over 50,000 jobs just in the metropolitan
zone.
The
state has an excellent terrestrial connection, with a network connection to all
the country and to the US. The Miguel Hidalgo airport of Guadalajara has 193
national flights and 54 international flights per day.
